The Ask
Walmart's agency of record Omelet reached out to create a heartfelt campaign about their exclusive partnership with America's favorite cooler company, Igloo.
The goal: to create a short documentary-style campaign showcasing Walmart's commitment to American manufacturing.
Working closely with the Omelet team, our team provided the following:
- Identified 3-5 employees at Igloo that would be able to accurately describe the partnership between Walmart & Igloo.
- Held preliminary interviews with each to ensure the the talking points required could be hit.
- Created a comprehensive budget that included travel, creative & production services, and post production for two hero assets.

Two Days in Katy, TX
Once we locked in the story, talking points, and talent our team traveled to Katy, Texas to shoot.
Beyond the standard expectations for crew, our team identified three unique elements to ensure everything we planned for could be captured.
- Roving Steadi Cam rig to showcase the size ad scale of the Igloo production facility.
- Specialty drone pilot to safely fly a cinema weighted camera package as close as possible to occupied buildings.
- Documentary-style interview sessions aimed to capture the subtle moments of verité with our subjects
While Scoop didn't oversee post on this project, we certainly gave Omelet more than enough material for multiple cuts. The above Hero :60 was a directors cut, while the longer form cut beneath lived on both the Walmart & Igloo social accounts.
