The Ask

Condé Nast Traveler tapped us to create a three part digital series for acclaimed whisky brand, The Macallan.

Working diligently alongside both internal marketing teams, we pitched and developed a documentary style campaign as elevated and engaging as Chef's Table, exclusively for social.

Pre Production

  • Identified 4-6 global food & beverage campaigns that incorporated The Macallan into a bespoke offering.
  • Held preliminary interviews with the tastemakers that anchored each program.
  • Created a comprehensive budget that included travel, production services, and post production for 3 episodes.

Three Major Cities

Beyond the standard expectations for crew, our team identified three unique elements to ensure everything we planned for could be captured.
  • Speciality telescoping probe lens to be submerged in liquid, and inside a Macallan bottle itself.
  • Specialty drone pilot to safely fly a cinema weighted camera package as close as possible to occupied buildings.
  • Steadi Cam operator to move through each hero space with ease and elegance.
