A day in the life of a nut butter lover.

When CHONK approached us to help imagine and execute a launch film, we were flattered. We love nut butter, and quirky ideas that make the world go 'round.

We proposed two shoot days, laying out our concept & plan of execution in a comprehensive deck.
  • One to showcase the tool in its natural environment - a sun drenched kitchen, or evening living room.
  • The second, to feature the tool's versatility, on a camping excursion to the coast.

Getting nutty on set

After the client approved our concept we began assembling the right team for the job, right here in sunny Los Angeles.

Beyond the standard expectations for crew, our team identified three unique elements to ensure everything we planned for could be captured.
  • Speciality probe lens to feature the tools capability inside the jar.
  • Bespoke camera rig that allowed us to tilt, boom, and pan all in one motion while crammed inside a small kitchen.
  • A handful of versatile extras that acted out several scenes with ease and flexibility.

Social cuts for a variety audiences

CHONK prioritized a social ad buy for this campaign, warranting several different versions to be deployed across multiple platforms to ensure as many eyeballs as possible.

We cut together several social spots with slight variation to see which audiences respond best.

  • 6sec cuts showcasing its unique "leave no trace" quality.
  • 6sec cuts focused on it's ability to scrape the jar clean.
